Aircraft Maintenance

Traudt Aerial Service

During the summer of 2024 I worked in the fast-paced world of aerial chemical application. Rediscovering my passion for aviation through 14-hour days of maintaining and loading some of the most incredible aircraft was exhilarating. I enjoyed the nitty-gritty work of dismantling, inspecting, and promptly reassembling each aircraft, as it gave me new insight into the processes that make such dynamic flight possible.

  • Aided in 100-hour inspections, oil changes for both piston and turbine engines, and propeller balances.
  • Maintained two workhorse AT-802s, two agile AT-602s, a powerful AT-502XP, and a small but mighty PA-36.
  • Excelled in the high pace, pit-stop-like environment of mixing and loading chemicals onto aircraft.
  • Built a switchbox to control and organize a system of ten pumps.
